The Services: Urban Forestry Services offers a broad range of services dealing with trees and natural areas. UFS specializes in providing homeowners with knowledgeable, uncompromised advice on tree health, maintenance, and liability issues. This area of expertise also assists property managers, engineers, and developers with their tree issues. UFS also offers services in forest management, herbicide control of exotic invasives, wetland delineation, and environmental assessments.

The Nursery:asdasdasdasdas123123

UFS operates a seedling nursery that offers a wide range of native stock for the southeastern coastal plain of the USA. We grow a number of the popular items that will be of interest to restoration specialists and growers of larger stock for retail sale. We also grow species that really round out a restoration plan but are difficult to find in the nursery trade. We sell to customers who order 70,000 units and those who order one plant.

Sorry for the extreme delay! We’ve been experiencing problems with the “Contact Us” button not delivering mail and hiding it on the site and are endeavoring to correct that problem. I’m sorry, we do not grow catalpa. You might try American Tree Seedlings for that species. If you would be so kind, please reply to this so we know whether we’ve fixed the problem with our site. Thank you! – Mike

I’m looking to purchase Carolina Basswood seedlings. I’ve read that they are better suited in southern regions than the other Basswood varieties. . I see that you have listed Tilia Americana (American Basswood) seedlings available. I reside in Dallas, Tx zone 8. Would these survive in my region?

Nick – sorry for the delay! We’re having problems with our “Contact Us” feature and your email did not make it through until now. I suspect our basswood would survive your cold temperatures but I can’t speak to accumulations of ice or snow on the branches since we only experience that very rarely. We do ship stock (but not the basswood so far) on a recurring basis to folks in the Houston and Woodlands area and they report good results. I will inquire whether you receive this reply through our regular email so we know if we have fixed the site. Thank you! – Mike
